Remington Copertino

Attorney

Remington Copertino is a family law attorney originally from Long Island, New York. Remi completed her undergraduate studies at SUNY Stony Brook. After several years of working with children, she developed an interest in the intersection of child advocacy and family law.

In pursuit of this interest, Remi attended the University of Connecticut School of Law. Remi participated in the New York Pro Bono Scholars Program, enabling her to take and pass the New York Bar Examination before graduating from law school. She was also a member of the Connecticut Insurance Law Journal, Moot Court Board, and several other law school competition and affinity-based organizations.

Remi joined Rich Rochlin Law Group in 2023 as a Legal Intern, continuing in this position throughout her time in law school. In that capacity, Remi managed an appeal from start to finish, including briefing and presenting oral argument before the Connecticut Appellate Court. She additionally drafted substantive legal documents and motions, conducted legal research on a variety of family law topics, supported trial preparation, and assisted with administrative tasks.

Remi is licensed to practice law in New York and is currently awaiting admission to the Connecticut Bar.

In her free time, Remi enjoys reading novels, visiting local coffee shops, and saying hello to every dog she meets.
