Remi Copertino is a law student from Long Island, New York. She completed her undergraduate studies in three years at Stony Brook University, receiving her B.S. with honors from the College of Business. After several years of working with children, Remi became interested in the intersection of child advocacy and family law. She enjoys helping families by assisting the firm with legal and administrative matters.
At UConn Law, Remi is an active member of the Moot Court Board, Connecticut Insurance Law Journal, and Mock Trial Society. She has competed in a variety of moot court and mock trial competitions; most recently she represented UConn Law at the 2023 San Diego Defense Lawyers Mock Trial Competition in San Diego, California. Remi is also interested in the laws surrounding animals and spent a semester working for UConn Law’s in-house Animal Law Clinic.
In her free time, Remi enjoys reading fiction, trying local coffee shops, and petting dogs.
