Remi Copertino is a law student originally from Long Island, New York. She graduated from Stony Brook University in three years with an honors B.S. After several years of working with children, Remi’s interest was captured by the fields of child advocacy and family law. She is grateful for the opportunity to work directly with families and help the firm in legal and administrative matters.
During her first year at UConn Law, Remi was a semifinalist in the Loiselle Moot Court Competition and a quarterfinalist in the Davis Mock Trial Competition. She is an Associate Editor for the Connecticut Insurance Law Journal.
She is additionally involved in the Family Law Association, Italian American Law Students Association, Negotiation and Dispute Resolution Society, and the Student Bar Association. She looks forward to being a Civil Procedure Teaching Assistant and participating in the Animal Law Clinic during her second year of law school.
In her free time, Remi enjoys reading novels, trying local coffee, petting dogs, and playing soccer with the UConn Law Soccer Club.
